The tasks of Managing Authorities are set in EU Regulation 1303/2013 and the Hungarian Government Regulation 272/2014:

  • to contribute to the preparation of the annual planning framework of OP implementation
  • to prepare call for proposals
  • to set up the management and control system it will operate
  • to propose an IB for designation
  • to propose the fund of funds for designation
  • to supervise the activities of the IB
  • to select projects
  • to perform first level controls
  • to monitor the implementation of the OP and the projects financed
  • to contribute to the preparation of the evaluation plan, the common communication strategy
  • to participate in partnership activities, information and communication activities
  • to implement anti-fraud policies
  • to prepare the annual summary and the management declaration, the annual implementation report
